Niche Marketing

What is the focus behind the whole idea of Niche Marketing?

Niche marketing is a type of marketing that falls out of the normal realm of mainstream business, or that involves focusing on one specific product or one specific type of need that allows niche marketing businesses to boom.

Niche marketing is capable of meaning different things to different people because the idea of mainstream is something that can have a wide variety of different definitions. Niche marketing is very popular on internet these days.

Many of the people are diverting to start their own online marketing campaigns. Niche marketing is targeting a product or service to a small portion of a market that is not being readily served by the mainstream product or service marketers.

Nearly every business fast food chains, convenience stores, even Wal-Mart was begun to fill perceived voids in the market place.

The challenge of Niche Marketing

Niche marketing is not about trying to sell your product or service to the world at large. As a small business person, you couldn't afford that kind of multi-million dollar advertising budget. Niche marketing is not about trying to compete. Competition is taken out of the equation when you do niche marketing.

Niche marketing is an effort to connect with and sell to a particular group of consumers. There are many different ways to define a niche market, with some examples revolving around geographic location, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or profession.

What is critical for effective Niche Marketing!

Niche marketing is all about leverage. You are using your niche to leverage your position in the marketplace beyond where you would have been without the niche. Niche Marketing is an extremely profitable business model because it can be learned and implemented easily. When I say easy, I am referring to the fact that niches that are usually worked upon have no competition at all or have very less competition?

Niche marketing is a profitable business model, particularly for those dedicated marketers that are familiar with the system. Niche marketing caters for those customers, whose demands are not met by the larger business corporations.

In a nutshell

Simply stated a niche market is merely smaller and more specialized segment of much larger market. When you locate or define an even smaller segment within the niche you are now on a more 'micro' level and thus the name.

Simply put, niche marketers define a need and then supply a demand. Though niche marketing is one of the simplest business concepts around, it is, more importantly, one of the most profitable.

How to manifest our desires

The true secret to manifesting anything we desire is that we have to have a basic understanding of the science behind it and also a basic understanding of quantum physics and how the law of attraction works, In this article I will talk about here how to manifest your dreams, how to manifest desires, if you want to know how to manifest money or how to manifest love, we must have a basic understanding of how quantum energy effects this.

Whatever you see around on the atomic level is made up of energy, Energy vibrates it has a certain frequency which is vibrating on a certain level keeping your bed, your tv, your wardrobe into existence but once that energy stops vibrating then that object will really cease to exist, Because once that energy stops vibrating that object cannot exist any longer. Energy is made up of a series of atoms, inside those atoms are the basic energy known as quanta which vibrates bringing into existence what you see around you right now. Quantum atoms are the basic energy inside other atoms. Everything has a quantum atom inside of it.

Your thoughts are to also frequencies, Scientists in a lab can measure a thought and what frequency it had from your brain so this means that your thoughts are also made of energy which contains quantum particles inside the atoms from the energy of your thoughts. So according to the Law of attraction like attracts like.

If your thoughts are of negative, poor, or on a bad vibration then you are producing those quantum particles which are attracting more of those bad quantum particles from around you in the universe which will attract circumstances where you will be broke or life will be hard for you.

but the good news is if you really focus and concentrate on the results you want, You can attract abundance, Luxury, good health, loving close relationships, happiness, joy, Money

You have to have a clear picture in your mind of the life you really want to live! if you have unclear thoughts and you have unclear desires then you will attract exactly that!

Everything seems to come down to clearly identify the results we want. Once that’s done, whatever action we take must be in line and in integrity with our goals, otherwise we might send mix messages to our creator… It can be as simple as taking on a project that isn’t a good fit for us.[24] Everything that exists today was once a thought in somebody's mind. This thought became reality through taking action in a focused way.[25]

Where do I start?

Now that you understand how you can change your life completely the question is what techniques or cognitive thoughts can we put into our own minds to perfect our lives? I'm not saying that you won't have any problems in the future now, but like they say problems are opportunities in disguise.

Right now I will show you some techniques that you can start using to attract beneficial circumstances into your life, you can use them to attract whatever your desire is at a suitable time for you, so in the next paragraph below I will show you the first step you need to take.

State one to two affirmations a day (affirmations are declarations of what you want to manifest. They help you to get on the frequency to believing what you are manifesting.[9] State clearly what you desire, state it specifically. Writing your goal in a form of intention seems always to help.[10]

Feel good about it. [6] Feel your body relaxing as you breathe. As you breathe in, breathe in peace.[7] Feel with immense joy and gratitude the wonderful feelings you would experience, and flash a genuine smile to the universe for having helped you manifest your desire. [8]

Another very great benefit for you is to learn how to meditate, Meditation is not only great for our well being but experts have shown studies that it increases our focus and concentration, It can alter any bad habits in our mind and we can be the master of our own mind instead of the mind being the master over us!

Meditation done properly can quickly change our overall vibrational pattern to better fit our intentions. Meditation can be complicated or simple and easy.[14] Meditation is another powerful tool for heart transformation. It also requires moments alone with yourself.[15]

Before you begin meditating I want you to read everything in the paragraphs below before you start learn it well for this will be a critical skill to manifesting what you desire in your life.

so when you meditate make sure you have no distractions at all, sit in your chair with the spine of your back up straight, your shoulders pulled back slightly and your chin slightly tucked in, with both feet flat on the ground, Rest your hands on your lap with your palms facing upwards then close your eyes.

It is also important to press the tip of your tongue very hard against the roof of your mouth the spot behind your 2 front teeth if you don't you risk suffering pain to your brain and nervous system, your breathing should be deep and as you breathe you should breath with your stomach not with your chest, If you breathe with your chest this will cause anxiety and restlessness. so make sure you breathe with your stomach while trying to keep your chest around your rib cage as still as possible.

If you feel your rib cage slightly moving don't worry, this is very natural as long as your focusing on your stomach that's what will make this meditation effective. When you breathe, you should breathe in through your nose till your lungs are absolutely filled with air then exhale through your mouth as you do this it will really relax your body.

do this for 5 minutes till you begin to feel really relaxed and let your mind count the number of seconds for you to take 1 full inhale and then count the number of seconds for it to count the number of seconds for you to fully exhale, Doing this will eliminate other distracting thoughts till your mind is still.

Also make sure you have a pen and paper ready to write down your experiences so then you can evaluate them and see how your doing on progress.

now that you are relaxed and that you have stilled your mind Imagine yourself happily giving money to others and see them receiving that money with gratitude and joy. Rejoice in the feeling that giving brings.[17] Imagination is an important part of the manifestation process as it gives your desire a structure. As you imagine having what you desire, allow yourself to FEEL what it will be like to already have what you desire.[18] Imagine that you're making $200 dollars per day, and how does it feel? And get up in that space to where you're making $200 dollars per day, and how does it feel, and write it down.[19]

Once you have done that and written it down, the reason why it is so critical for you to write it down is because you need to keep that image clear so that when you feel that its becoming unclear you can go back and refer to it knowing that is CLEARLY what you want, because you have made it so, doing this your brain will produce those thoughts and those thoughts will have that quantum energy right inside of them

Neuromarketing; the secret on how to make customers buy products on impulse

Would it not be great to know exactly on the neuro level of your customers brain what impulses them to buy your product?

Researchers are trying to figure out how MRI can be used to influence customers on making a decision to purchase products in the new field of marketing known as neuromarketing which is cutting edge research in the marketing field.

Professors at Duke university and Emory university are using MRI to monitor activities of the brain during a decision making process. Hopefully this will shed some light on determining what part of the brain is also making the decision.

My personal thoughts that this cutting edge research could arm marketers with the knowledge on what would make a product sell even before it is launched. It would arm them on what colors, what messages and what 'neuro-engaging' way is best to present it in order to stimulate that impulse to make the customer make the decision to purchase.

Authors Gregory S. Berns and Dan Ariely who also produces a weekly podcast known as Arming the donkeys wrote an article on the subject published on Nature Reviews;

The application of neuroimaging methods to product marketing — neuromarketing — has recently gained considerable popularity. We propose that there are two main reasons for this trend. First, the possibility that neuroimaging will become cheaper and faster than other marketing methods; and second, the hope that neuroimaging will provide marketers with information that is not obtainable through conventional marketing methods.

Although neuroimaging is unlikely to be cheaper than other tools in the near future, there is growing evidence that it may provide hidden information about the consumer experience. The most promising application of neuroimaging methods to marketing may come before a product is even released — when it is just an idea being developed.

The Pepsi VS Coke experiment.

A well known experiment back in 70's or 80's that was being conducted on Pepsi vs Coke to see which one tasted better. A blind taste test where the subject was in a room and they would drink from 2 cups 1 was filled with Pepsi the other was filled with Coke, as the results unfolded it was Pepsi that won the blind taste test over coke many times over.

They conducted the experiment again this time with the subjects knowing what they were drinking now what was very interesting is that now the subjects said that Coke tasted better than Pepsi, so this brings up another question if Pepsi tasted better than Coke then why is it that Coke dominates over Pepsi?

Because Coke has designed their brand and advertisements to be neuro-engaging They got the color RED and a nice runny font for their brand, their commercial adds show people doing outrageous or daring stunts, now they have bikini-clad model like girls in their commercials at a beach enjoying themselves being happy drinking coke.

All of this appeals to our human emotion which is why Coke dominated in sales over Pepsi.

So what part of the brain are we actually targeting?

According to Clint Kilts the scientific director of the BrightHouse Institute he gathered test subjects for his experiment. He asked them to look at a series of commercial products and rate which ones they strongly disliked to the ones they strongly did like, while their brains were hooked up to MRI Imaging.

He watched the activities in the subjects brain through the MRI what caught Kilts eye was whenever a subject found a product they loved the medial prefrontal cortex would fire up,
This is the part of the brain which is associated with our sense of self. It is what triggers the decision to buy a product.

With this type of knowledge marketers know the sure-fire way to get effective marketing results that we need when it comes to running our business and decisions based on growing our businesses in order to attract more sales and more profits.

When you decide to buy into advertisement services that is a business making decision to grow your business because you are making your business grow. Though we know the reason behind it is because the company offering those advertisement services know how to get you neurologically engaged through their 'advertising'

How do I apply this to my advantage?

I think with what we know now we are empowered to create better marketing campaigns though this raises a few questions right now that you can apply to your marketing plan for clarity and results in order to stimulate impulses to buy.

  • What is the human emotion factor for my product?
  • What type of feeling or experience do I want to create that engages my clients on the neuro level?
  • How does my product take out friction from my clients life and bring ease?
  • What is the perceived benefits and value that my product can have?
  • What scenario of my client winning from using my product in my advertising on the neuro level can I use in my advertising?
So on one last note I will say you must research and put some effort into thought when you answer these questions. I once heard from a very successful entrepreneur. In order to get the right results we must skillfully ask the right questions to get the right answers.

Hope you have enjoyed reading.

best regards

human fascination

Reading a blog article post written by Matthew E. May Author of "in pursuit of elegance"

I learned that human fascination is critical when it comes to sparking interests with clients, it is the factor that determines them making a decision to purchase your products.

Matthew cites in his article a study from the Author of the book "Fascinate: Your 7 Triggers to Persuasion and Captivation" which was written by Sally Hogshead a ex-advertising executive turned brand innovation consultant, This study was conducted on 1,059 Americans over the age of 18 which he cites;

“Without fascination,” Sally says, “we can't sell products, persuade shareholders to invest, teach students to read, or convince our own kids to stay off drugs.”

Some of the more interesting results are these:

  • When asked how far they would go for a fascinating life, 60% of people said they’d be willing to bend their morals, standards, or loyalties.

  • Only 9% of employees say their bosses are “extremely fascinating,” but 96% of parents say they’re fascinated by their own children.

  • A fascinating brand can charge up to four times as much as an un-fascinating one.

  • On average people will pay $288 per month to be the most fascinating person in the room. Five percent will pay more than $1000 per month. (Women will spend more to be fascinating than they spend on food. In fact, women will spend more to be fascinating than they spend on food and clothes combined.)

In Matthews article he identifies the 7 triggers of human fascination, I personally believe it was from the Author Sally Hogshead

What underlying psychological triggers our brains associate the emotion of fascination with are:

  • Lust
  • Mystique
  • Alarm
  • Prestige
  • Power
  • Vice
  • Trust
If a business employs practices aimed at human fascination that activate these desired triggers people according to Matthew if I get the right impression, if a brand can trigger a human emotional response mixed with a desired fascination with one of the 7 triggers I mentioned above, that is when the client makes the decision to invest.

A study conducted by scientists shows results that 97% of all the sales ever made were based solely on emotion, then they justify why they bought it later with logic.

So I think when it comes to designing a product it is very critically important it has the human emotion factor, what I see most business do is try to talk their customers buying into their products or services with logic!

If you are currently struggling with a product that has low sales, I suggest you find the human emotion factor in your product, for example lets say you are selling soap. Now lets say you have a great brand name that is easy to remember and a catchy phrase with it for example lets take
Gillette a company that produces shaving products for men, a advertisement states "Gillette the best a man can get" it has alliteration and rhyme.

Now lets say if I were to sell soap, mostly when soap comes to mind soap is boring, soap is just something to put in the bathroom. But the human emotion factor I think what Dove has done is very clever with one of their advertising campaigns.

"Dove's soap leaves the skin 99% moisturized compared to other brands that leave your skin feeling dry"

Instantly this triggers the fascination by giving this product the human emotion factor, clients will think especially women "He will feel amazed when he touches my skin and see's how moist and perfect it is" in other words being fascinating to others.

This is a driver that causes dove to be a more sought out brand than its competitors.

To wrap things up here, make sure you give your product some effort into considering the meaning of the message that will trigger your clients emotion to your products. If you learn how to master this correctly, you will begin to see results.
